The main problem with this type of site is that the online
bookmakers
already offer very competitive prices, I
personally have accounts with
ladbrokes, william hill, murray chandlers, tab ,
centrebet and a couple of
others i never use. By shopping around
it is often possible to have an
underround book ie cant lose.
There is
one major poblem with this
concept of betting
other punters is none of them, except
the stupid ones are going to offer odds better than
those attainable
at any of the online bookmakers. If they do
offer better odds they will
quickly give up laying odds as they inevitably
begin losing money, especially
with the five percent takeout by
Feverpitch.
This will create a problem , all the regulars will be offering odds
equal to or worse than those widely available at
other outlets, what will happen
is that nobody will take up their offers, leaving
the majority of bets unfilled.
Opening an account
with the TAB is easier , money transfer is easier
the interface is easier and you are guaranteed of
being able to make a bet.
On the other hand it
is quite interesting making a bet at this new site
just to see if anybody accepts the bet. However if
a number are left unfilled
im sure the novelty will soon wear off
