Thanks for your perspective, Peter. I have never bagged Frucor and never will - God knows NZ needs more companies like them. Companies which turn commodities into real added value products and are prepared to take on the world. There is a world of difference (like heaven and earth!) however between blindly buying the story as it has been hyped up and objectively assessing its prospects as the story unfolds. It amuses me how infatuated some chatters had become with the stock that they unfortunately appear to have lost the objective perspective required to be successful investors. Incidentally, I don't comment from a 'told you so' attitude. I cautioned strongly about investing in Frucor after the first downgrade on 26 February (refer Frucor .. not a good sign. Any old timers will tell you that you SHOULD NOT invest in a stock which has been downgraded until you see an upgrade. Instead, the infatuated chatters charged off (believing the company's pr spin and the chatters' own roadside analysis .. remember 'Unleash The Beast') and actually pushed the stock higher after the downgrade!!! By the way, if what I have stated so far has come from my backside (re Nick, I am struck with two thoughts : 1. I must have a pretty intelligent backside. 2. Where does Nick's thinking come from????? _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/forum.shtml.
