Readers,
I am making a distinction between direct investment
in the market - where management fees are often below 1%- and unit
trusts with high entry fees and where often the management fee includes
a " trailing " fee.
That fee is returned to the client's advisor.
It took quite some time before the clients became aware of this fee
!!
Normally, some British
Investment Trusts can be good investments and management fees tend to be
below 1%.
At this stage, I feel that perhaps it is better to
wait; there are some which may operate better in the bearish
conditions.
To those chatters who like a steady investment with
good prospects, there could be a prospect to discuss on April 2.
I'll let you know!
Gerry
