Unfortunately agree with Ben and Phil - probably some defamation issues.
Michael - you should be having serious words with someone more senior at the
broking service where your broker works, or if not comfortable with that
then I'm sure the Consumers' Institute would love to hear from you.  I very
much hope you pursue this matter - your broker has been misleading and
deceptive - prima facie breach of s9, Fair Trading Act - and as the broker
has personally benefitted from your purchase, they MUST be held accountable
for this behaviour.

Of course you could always send an email to the NBR.  I'm sure they'd
publish it....
