It seems another Fletcher stock is in play. Fletcher Challenge
Energy (FCE) has reported to have struck it rich with the Pohukura well being
drilled off shore from the Methanex plant in Nth Taranaki. FCE and partners
expect that this second well will confirm the prospect as the third largest gas
find after Maui and Kapuni. The field is close enough to shore to enable much
drilling and production facilities to be located onshore thus reducing
development costs. This is all good news for the FEG share.
