Sorry, but when Reds are concerned, the Australians beat ours hands down!
Except perhaps for Pinot Noirs. Now whites on the other hand, I think they
are strongly in NZ's favour. But I prefer red wine, and I'll choose an
Australian red any day over a Kiwi red :)
