      Versus???? How come? Comsec is an online broker, MetaStock is a charting 
and TA program. No competition there! A charting program is no use without a 
broker and Australasian brokers offer only very basic charting facilities on 
their websites. 
 The time to buy MetaStock (or any other TA program) is when you want or need 
more functionality than is provided by your online broker. Many people never 
reach this point, especially if trading in the US. There is no need to buy your 
own charting software if price charts are all you want.
 If you are looking for another Aus broker, check out Sanfords facilities and 
also AOT. I use Sanfords myself, but AOT appears to me to offer the best 
etrading setup in Australia. They are also the cheapest if your average trade 
is >$30,000 Aus. http://www.aotonline.com.au
