Well you could use the delete button if the title of the messages you 
download does not appeal.   Or you could simply killfile the posters 
you don't want to hear from.

Or (gasp) you could introduce your own discusssion topic that you 
yourself consider worthy of  discussion.  Anything concerned with 
investment is on topic.
