The sobig virus which I think you are encountering, as probably are most of
subscribers to this column, was dealt with in a recent issue of your paper The
Age and was said to end on September 10th.but was speculated to be
followed by a more virulent type. It was a sobering article suggesting by
the end of last week 1 in 15 international E/M`s was via that virus. Touch wood
those affecting me appear to have ceased.Individual malcontents,industrial
espionage versus Microsoft possibly and indirectly funded by outraged
competitors, together with a growing number of "disaffected "countries will be a
force to be reckoned with into the future. China itself is presented as a
significant catchment area into that future. Unlikely Czechoslovakia as hinted
at as being a present threat.
