Reading your posts with interest. From one who lives in a brick veneer
house which as you know has a full ventilated system.I came up with a
ventilation system which could be applied to all other claddings, but for the
time being have shelved it. I have tried to get info on how to take it to the
next step but keep hitting a 'brick wall'.
One of the main problems is that the Regulatory body are insisting on all
buildings being watertight with no thought to secondary barrier if the outside
cladding breaks down in anyway. Even a sealant breakdown would be covered under
this system.
