Re: [sharechat] oh,,,,dear.. more bad news

I realise this has had a thrashing but a simple answer is that there are no
votes for low taxes........200,000 (approx) beneficiaries of some sort means
lots of votes.....contrast that to 5% of working population that earn over
60k and therein lies the answer..........

we are taxed too high and moreover the tax we pay is absolutely
squandered...might as well throw it in the bin......redistribution doesn't
work...if it did why isn't all the aid money that is supposed to go to
Africa having an impact?...why is there no clean water in most parts of
south Africa despite hundreds of millions of dollars of money redistributed
from wealthy nations to the continent??......what happened after band aid
twenty odd years ago???????..

if redistribution worked, why aren't nurses getting paid more??...why aren't
health boards in the black???...why aren't the teachers paid
more????...because governments are destructive and not constructive.....

high taxes and redistribution is a failure....problem is low(er) taxes and
'expected' higher growth doesn't necessarily pass with flying colours
either!!...oh well....look after the kids as best I can...that's all you can
do............

Cheers

Nk

Ps Tall Blacks by 3 and into the final (please!!!!!)
