Nick

On this topic, there has also been comment passed recently about Packer's investment in Prime TV.  I think it was on this site but can't find the post.

Interested to see tonight that Prime are showing some of the Aussie sport shows i.e. 'The Footy Show' with some of the boofheads from Rugby league.  Prime are definitely 'upping the ante' so to speak.

I was wondering what lies ahead for Prime/Solution Packer and Sir Ron?  Then I got thinking.

And I thought.......and thought and I'll throw these around.

How about a pay per view channel for live sport?  Prime would compete with Sky who have subscribers.

And/or, a cheap interactive channel for the middle market again competing with the digital services.

Or, free to air sport (replayed).  All Blacks/NRL games etc.  There is a market there for free to air sport and goodness knows that Packer can afford to put it on.

Or anything else remotely connected with TV/Internet/Digital TV etc.

Whatever eventuates, Solution 6 is undervalued.  Sir Ron wouldn't go near it otherwise.

Cheers

Very interesting development for solution 6.  25 million shares have been taken up by cph investment corp (packer) and MEM group which is 83% owned by GPG (sir ron).  They have been given 12.25 million shares each at a price of 63 cents a share with an option of another 5.25 million each at the same price. Good news for GPG and probably good news for solution 6.   They have got a bargain at 63 cents which is quite a good discount to the present price.
There was a trading halt on friday before the announcemnt. The shares jumped to 77c after the announcement before falling back to 74c.  Solution 6 announce results on thursday, the shares have been stirring lately and the whispers are that a decent result is expected.  Will be interesting to see what happens on monday.
