On this topic, there has also been comment passed
recently about Packer's investment in Prime TV. I think it was on this
site but can't find the post.
Interested to see tonight that Prime are showing
some of the Aussie sport shows i.e. 'The Footy Show' with some of the
boofheads from Rugby league. Prime are definitely 'upping the ante' so to
speak.
I was wondering what lies ahead for
Prime/Solution Packer and Sir Ron? Then I got thinking.
And I thought.......and thought and I'll throw
these around.
How about a pay per view channel for live
sport? Prime would compete with Sky who have subscribers.
And/or, a cheap interactive channel for the
middle market again competing with the digital services.
Or, free to air sport (replayed). All
Blacks/NRL games etc. There is a market there for free to air sport
and goodness knows that Packer can afford to put it on.
Or anything else remotely connected with
TV/Internet/Digital TV etc.
Whatever eventuates, Solution 6 is
undervalued. Sir Ron wouldn't go near it otherwise.
Cheers
