The next Investor Interview is with the Managing Director of Richmond
Limited (NZSE: RHD), John Loughlin.

Richmond is New Zealand's biggest meat exporter and processor and has gained
a high profile since listing on the main exchange in early 2001. In the year
ended September 2001 the Hastings-based firm reported sales of $1.4 billion,
the majority from export receipts. Profit at $20.65 million was a 77%
increase over last year. The company has some fourteen processing plants
throughout the North Island turning out cuts of beef, lamb, venison, veal,
and goats as well as leather and by-products. It runs a number of marketing
offices worldwide to support its sales to export markets such as North
America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The company has been spending
cash upgrading a number of plants and has just announced plans to raise
another $50 million in capital notes. The company's website is:
