My
partner asked me today what she should do with her contact
shares, to be honest i have no idea. She
decided to wait until
she decided to wait and accept the
4.25.
The other
alternative is to sell, hope the bid fails and then buy
back in
at a lower price. Stocks are on a high at the moment in NZ
however that is unlikely to last long and once the
recessionary gloom
sets in the money from contact could be usefully
used grabbing
some bargains.
Im in
the same dilema with Frucor, 2.45 is certainly tempting
in the current climate, but at least there is a
chance offers will go
higher, while it is hard to imagine edison raising
their bid further
