I believe V is made at a factory in the netherlands. The importance of the uk is overestimated. J.B.Were in a recent report rate the value of frucor shares as 2.60 , excluding the u.k operations, they rate the stock as 2.10. So even without the uk the shares appear to be well undervalued. CSFB have reached fairly similar conclutions. As for the reason the major shareholder is quitting, there could be any number of reasons. Could just be they want to hold fewer stocks in these turbulent times. Apparantly they want to sell to one buyer so the market is unlikely to be flooded with sells. Will be interesting to see who takes them on Nick > Phil I for one think they are getting out because they expect A lot more > downside in the shareprice.
