            The Government has recently placed a limit on the number of
gaming
machines in NSW therefore any further moves to curb pokie use should
be a long way off, especially in an election year.
       Ebet should actually benefit from the cap on gaming machines.
 The operators now have to maintain profit not by increasing the number
of machines but by improving efficiencies.  Cashless gaming can have
exactly this effect.   The clubs can cut down on staff , ie money changers
etc.
    They will be able to spend less on security too.
           Furthermore  Ebet claim using cards instead of cash will help
cut down on problem gambling (debatable) as users can instantly see
how much the habit is costing them. They can obtain statements showing where
and how much money they spent etc.
    They have no real competition in this area and should have significant
first mover advantage in installing the systems.  If there endeavors are as
professional as there racing websites they will be onto another winner.
