I note that AQL intends to issue 400 million fully paid shares at a price of 1.1c per share following its acquisition of Organic Interceptor Products Ltd. At present the price is 1.6c and they have been trading higher than this over the last couple of months. The new shares will be issued to a number of habitual and institutional investors to be identified by a number of professional stockbrokers. I understood that the new stock exchange rules were developed to give small shareholders a better opportunity to participate in this type of issue. Can anyone tell me if there is any way to get the company to allow existing shareholders to have a prior claim to some of this new issue of shares?
