Readers,

Please refer to my " Spreadsheet: Market Value of securities" date: Aug. 7, 2001.

This has a set of instructions and these discuss the preparation and operation of a MS Works spreadsheet.

I asked for feedback and got some. One reader had never used a spreadsheet or formulae and got it right, first time.

The recipe requires some minute editing.

I am prepared to send out a copy of this spreadsheet to the first 10 applicants. By applying, they confirm that they have read this set of instructions, including the disclaimer.
