I always thought that Attachments were banned long ago.We banned all of the types of files that normally carry viruses - .exe, .com, .vbs etc etc. For about 4 years now Word itself has had a level of protection against such macro viruses, so they are quite uncommon these days - that's the first I've seen for at least a year.
Unless you have any solid reason to have attachments, why not ban them now?They do get used for legitimate purposes, for example Phaedrus's charts. Having banned all of the types that carry viruses should suffice.
