[sharechat] AQL - Purchase of Organic Interceptor Products

Have just received the following e-mail from the Company Secretary of AQL :

I confirm the proposed number of shares to be issued to the shareholders of OIP is 1,950,000,000 which values each share at $0.0025 (One Quarter of One Cent).

You will note from the 2000 annual report that the company had net assets of $169,000 at 31 December 2000 which with 228,341,742 shares on issue gave a net asset backing per share of $0.0007. Since that time a further 22,800,000 shares have been issued for $342,000 but with ongoing costs the net asset backing is currently under $0.001.per share.

I trust this puts the issue price of $0.0025 in perspective.
