The directors deemed the shares to
be worth 1.5 cents when they issued 23 million new shares on 2
February 2001; despite the book value being 7/10 of a cent a month
earlier.
They now say the shares are worth only
one-sixth of this. What has the board been doing for the past 4 months &
what have they spent $500,000 on in that time ?
Surely any fool could have secured the Organic
Interceptors deal? Could it be worth paying someone a salary or more
than a nominal commission for ? Is there any news to come to make that
deal look more attractive.?
Have there been any collateral deals? So many
questions need answering about AQL.
It often amazes me what some small companies
think they can get away with, but if only a few persistent shareholders take
them on , they can get results that would not be possible with a large
company.
Disclosure:
Haven't owned any AQL for over a year since I
re-evaluated the "strong buy" recommendation D.F.Mainland gave
me.
