[sharechat] Growing Hemp For Tobacco
Hi all,
I was just wondering when they start growing hemp for commercial
purposes, if they would be able to also produce a tobacco industry out of it
? (out of it, not bad a, plus the Hi all at the beginning g I'm smoking or
should I say on fire). Considering that on the news they were saying that
the THC level in the commercial marijuana is so low you could smoke it until
you dropped dead of lung cancer (which by the way is no different to normal
tobacco as far as I can tell) before getting a high off of it. Can they not
then also create a tobacco industry out of the stuff, considering that half
the population already smokes it on a regular basis anyway. You would
probably find that three-quarters of the cigarette smoking population that
smoke you know what would switch cigarettes overnight(the funny thing is it
would probably help them cut back on the illegal stuff without them even
realising it), then Bobs your uncle Fanny's your aunt a tobacco industry is
born. Also with today's technologies I am sure that they would be able to
make it taste just like a normal cigarette if you so wished (or even
strawberry jam ), personally I like strawberry jam. Surely this must make
money for the New Zealand farmer (a newie) and government (as per norm),
plus reduce the price of cigarettes to the consumer (another newie). Maybe
even reduce the amount of illegal marijuana being used by the younger
generation, being that some of the secrecy and hush hush stigma that
surrounds marijuana and intrigues teenagers etc will not be such a secretive
issue and will become old news (to a certain degree).
So is it possible to manufacture a smokeable cigarette for the public from
hemp or not ???.
Mike
