absolutely first-rate work. thank you snoopy. i think there is another signal that might prompt me to buy more airva -- if singapore air (or someone) showed interest in buying into ansett. my hands are so cut from trying to grab the falling knife i will probably miss the bottom though. with regards to one of the bottom-feeders going out of business: i heard that impulse airlines was offering $40 tickets sydney to hobart. at that price, it seems that the plane would have to be stuffed to the gunwales (or the aviation equivalent) before the crew could be paid, never mind starting the engines. snoopy, i don't quite understand the ramifications of airva announcing a capital note issue. why do you see this as a positive sign? wouldn't it mean that they need yet more money -- and they already have cash. i seem to be missing something, and would love an explanation if you have enough time. i'm still grimly holding airva -- at nearly 50% down, i feel i cant afford to sell, so i guess i'll be a grumpy holder for 2 years at the very least. jefley ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors http://www.netbroker.co.nz/ Trade on Credit, Low Brokerage.
