[sharechat] ADV v's RNS -
Surfing around redherring.com this came across this interesting article
http://www.redherring.com/investor/2000/0323/inv-pc032300.html
.....especially when read with the recent performance of RNS and ADV in mind.
As RNS heads towards the sky with very little hype ADV heading south after all
the hype of the past few year...
Maybe something in what this article says after all - esp this paragraph
"Before you invest in a company, take a close look at how the executives manage
and react to Wall Street expectations. A company that's building long-term
growth is focused on things such as developing strategic technology and
reporting steadily improving financial results without a lot of hype. A company
plagued by vain executives and arrogant employees is in a shaky position for
long-term growth because it's not focused on the endgame."
Not implying that ADV executives are vain or anything - but maybe under
delivering on big promises v's (in RNS case) over delivering without promising
much(IMHO). After all ADV outscore RNS 90 to 10 on share of voice over the past
year (unofficial research)

(Disc - Hold RNS, never held ADV but see value in ADV at $1.75)
