Re: [sharechat] Tel valuation method

Hey MM

FYI (and anyone else with disrupted internet connection) I have been having
the same problem for some years.

On Saturday (my fourth faults call to Telecom in six months) a Faults
Service person checked a connection on a telephone pole a couple of streets
from my house and found "a very very badly corroded" connector - or
whatever it is they use on telephone poles. He replaced it.

I have now had problem free internet access for one week, after spending
past years thinking it was my modem, my ISP, my internal wiring etc etc etc.

Moral of the story - ask Telecom to check for corroded connections in your
neighbourhood if you are having internet connection dropouts but you think
everything else is in order.

As for your price theory... seems as good as any at the moment.

Cheers, Phil Boeyen
