 you can invest offshore without spending more time or effort than local
investing.
One good news wire service delivered to your email address on half a
dozen stocks would take 20 minutes to sift through. Your info would be
more timely than local news, probably more accurate, and just as
relevant.
Apart from the time factor, I think many are still uncomfortable with
their money sitting on the other side of the world in an offshore broker
account. Is it safe and so on. And the unfamiliar names, jargon etc of
foreign markets.
Maybe locals will see firms like Energy making investments in Capstone
etc in order to grow, is no different than an individual investor going
offshore to make their portfolio grow.
