I would have to agree that those stats are misleading. Mum owns AMP by
default and she has never traded or invested in her life, just has them. A
more thorough breakdown I would say, expose some different figures of true
investors in stock. ie % who own through mutual funds and trusts, private
investors, would give a better picture.
