[sharechat] NZSE to become e-broker?

Article in today's herald outlining concerns re. NZSE allowing investors to
have direct access.

What are people's thoughts?

I don't like paying a broker, but I think it's in everyone's interests to
have a 3rd party involved who will guarantee transactions.  Maybe the
exchange should be concentrating their efforts on getting the depth
information out instead?
