We NZers seem to be in a permanent gloomy pessimistic state of mind most of the time and quite (happy) to see the worst in most situations, Maybe if we changed the name of our main sporting team the All Blacks to All Brights it might help as at the moment we seems to be becoming The Land of the Long Black Cloud (just joking) but we are becoming a miserable bunch.

 

I think that some education and simplifying of the sharemarket might help new investors  understand the market as it seems that even 'old hands' are puzzled lots of the times, and after talking about the market many people say it is a very risky and stressful thing to put money into and they aren't brave enough to do that themselves.
