Good post Chris. I did ? that shareholding but Brian certainly found some
unusual % differences and just the fact its not the same as on nzse is
strange. I questioned my brokers today and they have not heard or know
anything. One thing they said was why would ELD be interested in a stake in
RMG. Doesnt seem to fit their business. They got the original 4-5% holding
by default really. If this is true which I find hard to believe, they have
somehow increased their stake by 20%. It will be interesting to hear your
answer on Monday although I think it will be some confusion with the EW
stake of same amount. I will get back to you also as have emailed Paul
Cooney in Aus. If you go on sharechat search on ELD, you will find some
discussion of the ELD stake in RMG from me about 3-4 weeks ago.
Point taken on 25% Aus market..not a done deal, but still a dominant
position as it stands now
