When rushing off to your tried & true kiwi broker for ASX trades, do not overlook the option many Ozzie brokers offer of straight through trades...ie the $$ transaction goes via the broker, but when you hit the send button your order is entered straight into ASX system, there is no reliance on a person seeing your order pop up on his/her screen, then manually passing on your order, which I have known to take over an hour...a very long hour at the time too.  (This does not refer to the excellent NZSE service I get from my kiwi broker, who is not Access, or Direct, or ASB.......

 

Take a positive step outside your comfort zone, plug in properly to ASX trading, and soon, if like Jesse you don't mind burning the midnight oil, you'll be able to trade NASDAQ through Sydney as well !!
