Hi
Thx for the reply ben. I sold this morning
(wed) for the following reasons
Firstly i believe
the offer by lion nathan to be negative, they have bought
solely to prevent any of their rivals from
gaining control of montana. This
will i believe dampen down the takeover
speculation , and it is the takeover
speculation which has been holding the shareprice
up.
Secondly,
there are conflicting reports over the size of montanas harvest
for this years crop, many of the other growers
claim to have suffered much
more from the bad weather this summer and are
convinced montana
must have been more badly affected than its
letting on.
Its hard to imagine the
stock heading much higher for the next nine
months or so, especially with the current
volatility in world markets.
Having said this i love
montana, they are a very well run company and have
a great future and i intend to buy back in
the next time the stock falls
below two dollars, which i believe it will for
the reasons i have already given,
So, to sell or not to sell? I think you'll have to decide that one
yourself Nick :)
