[sharechat] Stocks to consider

From: "Matthew Van Veen" <mattvanveen@hotmail.com>

I have just come back from a good 4 day weekend away at Mt Maunganui and
Rotorua. Excellent little hoilday. Missed all the action apart from news
bulletins. I think it was bound to happen - just wish it will happen again
so we can all get on with it without waiting until the next one. No need to
worry if in for long term - bought more ITC again yesterday.
Anyway 2 stocks to consider at todays prices from personal observations
while on hoilday.
1.THL - A lot of campervans (I mean alot) all over the place. Busloads of
tourists everywhere - Asian, Aussie and European. Nothing wrong with NZ
Tourism at the moment. Of course this also goes well for AIA.
2. RBD - Many KFC outlets with queues out door and drive throughs also
packed. Didn't notice so much with Pizza Hutts but if RBD is the buyer of
Eagle Boys this in the long term would be good for RBD as will reduce
competition. No starbucks in sight but company doing well in US. McDonalds
are expanding their McCafes in this area.
3. FFS - Of course drove through alot of Forest and Fletchers have a
research center in Rotorua. Did not go it as Luge proved greater attraction.
Of course FFS now involved with Genesis project. If FFS is/has been sold
then price must be greater than $1.30 surely.

These are just observations from weekend away.

Matt
p.s. Felicity - I enjoyed you in Austin Powers - or was that your sister?
