Hmmm, once again we take a fall similar to the US
markets, and our rise is nowhere near the ensuing rise... WHY???????
I have only two possiblities.
1. The foreign investors took their money out in
the fall and are now investing all of their moeny back in the US. This
would seem odd and logically imply an ever decreasing NZ market that goes in the
opposite direction to other markets. (So why did we fall in
sync?)
2. The NZ market is controlled by kiwis who are
just as susceptible to irrational fear in the downs, but are rather more
reticent to jump back on the horse. My guess goes with this one but the
assumption that kiwis control the market here is extremely dubious.
Any other suggestions?
Jungen.
