[sharechat] skipping the NZ market

From: "Derek Watt" <watt250@hotmail.com>

It seems that some NZ companies are avoiding the
NZ markets and listing on the Nasdaq or in Australia
instead (Quixel & Pacific Lithium in particular).
Given the poor performance of the NZ markets who
can blame them I guess? But this will have dire
consequences for the local markets if the trend
continues.

The other thing that bothers me is as a small investor
I know of no local sharebroker that handles trades
on the Nasdaq. Does anyone know of any? I'm a bit
wary of sending money to the a U.S. broker that I
know nothing about and that may go bust if the crap
hits the fan.

(I'd particularly like to buy some Pacific Lithium.)

Cheers,
Derek

PS bought some OTR today, IMHO a bargain at 70 c !
