It seems that some NZ companies are avoiding the NZ markets and listing on the Nasdaq or in Australia instead (Quixel & Pacific Lithium in particular). Given the poor performance of the NZ markets who can blame them I guess? But this will have dire consequences for the local markets if the trend continues. The other thing that bothers me is as a small investor I know of no local sharebroker that handles trades on the Nasdaq. Does anyone know of any? I'm a bit wary of sending money to the a U.S. broker that I know nothing about and that may go bust if the crap hits the fan. (I'd particularly like to buy some Pacific Lithium.) Cheers, Derek PS bought some OTR today, IMHO a bargain at 70 c ! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors To remove yourself from this list, please us the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/forum.html.
