An article in yesterday's Christchurch's Press indicated that the purchase of 
Ansett Australia will now only be completed sometime in June and not by the end 
of April as earlier announced or widely anticipated. Considering that BRY has 
said that any future deal will not go ahead until the Ansett Australia deal is 
finalised, I imagine this will further delay proceedings. More time for 
institutions to buy further?

Ansett expects June settlement

MELBOURNE -- Ansett Australia expects Air New Zealand
to complete the purchase of News Corp's stake in Ansett by the end of June, 
compared with an earlier prediction of April. 
"Planning has started but integration activities cannot begin until after the 
transaction is finalised which is likely to be between 1 May and 30 June," the 
airline said in its staff newsletter, Ansett News.
