ANZ National, New Zealand’s biggest banking group, named Nick Freeman as chief financial officer and announced the creation of a new role of chief credit officer.
Freeman replaces Jeremy Robson, who has been appointed deputy CFO at parent Australia and New Zealand Banking Group.
Chief executive Jenny Fagg also named Jennifer Evans as Chief Risk Officer, replacing Richard Wilks, who takes up the newly created position of chief credit officer.
The appointments of Freeman and Evans are subject to Reserve Bank approval.
