Matthew Wood has opened an executive search firm in Auckland with a focus on senior appointments called Matthew Wood Search (MWS).
He says the practice encompasses a blend of recruitment processes to achieve the most thorough and efficient results.
"The philosophy to 'know' all talent in our sectors of expertise, at all times, gives us a unique point of difference," he says.
Wood has had 10 years executive recruitment experience with a focus on financial services.
He started his career working for the largest executive recruitment firm in New Zealand and was then a founding member of a boutique firm where he continued to work for four years completing numerous senior appointments in financial services.
Most recently Wood has spent three years in the United Kingdom working for a leading global executive search firm.
He focused solely on Senior Partner and Fund Manager Appointments for the Hedge Fund Industry and subsequently headed the Hedge Fund Practice.
