More companies associated with Christchurch property developer Dave Henderson have today been placed into receivership.

Grant Thornton national director, specialist advisory Richard Simpson said receivers have been appointed to Livingspace Properties, Castle Street Ventures, Tay Ventures,  RFD Investments and 92 Lichfield.

"Livingspace Properties operates apartments in Dunedin, Invercargill and Christchurch", Simpson said.

"It will take us some time to get to grips with the financial position of the companies, but in the meantime it will be business as usual."

He says the receivers, Tim Downes, Simon Thorn and Dave Ruscoe, will continue to operate the Livingspace businesses and honour bookings.

Simpson says there are a number of commercial buildings involved in the receiverships in all three cities.
