Opus International Consultants has appointed Kerry McDonald to the new position of deputy chairman of the Opus Board.
Also Opus chief executive Kevin Thompson has been appointed to the board as managing director.
Opus chairman Basil Logan said that the appointment of McDonald, who joined the Board in April, was in recognition of his wide experience in public listed companies both in New Zealand and in Australia.
"The skills that Kerry brings are of particular value to the Board as the company moves towards NZX listing and further international expansion," Logan said. "Likewise Kevin brings to the table proven leadership skills and his strategic vision for the company."
Thompson joined the company in 1998 and has been responsible for leading Opus' growth, particularly in offshore markets through a process of both acquisition and expanding market share.
