New chief exec for wind energy association

The new chief executive of the New Zealand Wind Energy Association is Eric Pyle, who moves from the Ministry of Research, Science & Technology, where he was director of environment and social development.

Pyle's responsibilities at the ministry included the integration of renewable energy into the electricity grid.

He has held senior positions at Forest and Bird, WWF, Ministry for the Environment and Department of Conservation.
