Motor manufacturer Wellington Drive Technologies has received European certification for two of its technologies.

The company has gained CE certification for the DE066ZB motor and CH070ZA controller. The standard is required to sell electrical machinery in Europe.

Wellington Drive said the certification would allow its customer in Europe to begin sales, after ordering the motor in December.

Last month the company announced it had sealed a deal with an undisclosed European air conditioning manufacturer with a modified version of its super-quiet motor.
