Nationwide real estate firm First National has changed its board while Harcourts appoints a chief operations officer while it looks for a new CEO.
Whangarei-based realtor Allan Inglis has been elected to the board of First National Group at the real estate networks annual conference in Wellington.
He joins board members Jill Quaid (Ashburton), Jon Simpson (Auckland), Ann Crossley (Rotorua) and Matt Randall (Invercargill) for a 24-month term.
Inglis has been with First National for 15 years and has multiple branch offices in Northland.
"Allan's experience and business acumen has led his company to dominant market share in the Northland region. In a volatile market with tough competitors, that is no easy accomplishment," Quiad says.
Quaid, Simpson, Crossley and Randall were re-elected to the national board for a further two years, with Quaid chairing her second two-year term.
Over at Harcourts Jo Clifford has been appointed chief operations officer. This comes after chief executive Bryan Thomson moved to a new role, Head of Real Estate Operations for Harcourts Australasia. The company is looking for a new CEO.
