Vista Group’s chief financial officer Rodney Hyde has resigned to take up a role with another New Zealand technology company.

Hyde, who will leave on May 15, joined Vista in July 2015 after spending four years as Orion Health’s CFO.

“On behalf of the team at Vista Group, I would like to thank Rodney for his dedication and commitment to the organisation,” chief executive Kimbal Riley said in a statement.

“During the transition from private to public company, Rodney made an invaluable contribution to the increased clarity and sophistication of our financial reporting and we wish him all the best for his future role,” Riley says.

Vista floated and joined NZX in 2014 after a $92.6 million capital raising priced at $2.35 per share. The shares closed on Wednesday at $4.51.

Riley says the board has begun an executive search to replace Hyde.

Hyde wasn’t immediately available to comment or say which company he is joining.
