Text too small? |
It appears some of our subscribers using Xtra accounts may not be receiving their ShareChat AM Update or News Alert emails.
Due to the large volume of customers emailing to say they really miss their regular emails from us, we thought we'd post some assistance.
In the past when this has happened, ShareChat has been in contact with Xtra and they can only suggest that each customer individually update their SpamGuard settings within their own Xtra account. It is a security feature at a customer level which they cannot update on your behalf.
If you are missing your free newsletters, here is what we suggest you try:
Firstly, double check that you are still subscribed to the newsletters by doing the following (you may have been automatically unsubscribed if your emails bounced too many times).
AM Update subscribers:
You can check if you are still subscribed by entering your email address here:
http://www.sharechat.co.nz/services/amupdate.php
News Alert subscribers:
You can check if you are still subscribed by entering your email address here:
http://www.sharechat.co.nz/services/newsalert.php
Next, if you ARE STILL subscribed you will need to add the appropriate Sharechat "from" email address to your personal Yahoo!Xtra mail Contacts list. (click on 'add' next to Contacts)
Please add: newsletters@lists.tarawera.co.nz
Newsletters should thereafter be found in your Yahoo!Xtra mail inbox.

Okay - here's another option:
Add our email address to your 'Safe List'
To add someone to your Safe List in Outlook, open a previous email from us and in the top menu you will find a 'Safe Lists' button.
Click on this and select add 'Sender to your Safe' List
Click here to see example: http://www.goodreturns.co.nz/ads/safe_list.gif
---------------------------------
Or try this:
Include my Contacts as safe senders
By default, e-mail messages that you receive from people who are listed in your Contacts are considered safe by the Junk E-mail Filter. However, the people in your Contacts are not literally added to the Safe Senders List unless you send e-mail to a contact while you have the Automatically add people I e-mail to the Safe Senders List check box selected.
To change this setting, do the following:
On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
Click the Safe Senders tab.
Select or clear the Also trust e-mail from my Contacts check box.
