Jenny Morel: Seventh stake
Wellington-based Jenny Morel's venture capital company No. 8 Ventures has made its seventh investment, taking a stake in global Internet operating system "ocoloco," developed by SiliconBLUE.

SiliconBLUE's Gerad Taylor describes the system as "a platform for businesses to manage their online business" by providing "infrastructural control over typical 'webspace' elements such as domains and email."

The software, designed by Mike Bennett, was originally developed for Wairarapa internet service provider Contact Internet.

SiliconBLUE will move to Wellington early next year and plans to sell its software overseas within eight months.
