Equity Investment Advisors to keep phone line open for people to get in the Meridian application to the last moment

Text too small?

The Meridian offer has been a hectic time for most advisors in New Zealand.

A lot of Broker Pool allocations have been filled for some days.

“ There are still opportunities to enter the Public Pool  “said Mr Brent King, Managing Director  of Equity Investment Advisors ( a Sister company of Sharechat .Co.Nz).

“ It has been amazing that with all of the Advertising for the issue , that people are suddenly making a decision on the last couple of days .  The apparent agreement by the US  politicians  may have convinced some  investors “ said Mr King.

When asked whether it is still possible to obtain an allocation Mr King Said  “ Equity will be open until 4.50pm  today and we expect to be helping clients into the Public Pool until that time. Clients can ring on 0800 474 669 “

For the retail Investor there is still a good chance to get into the pool. In previous issues we have seen NO  scaling below $15,000 so for many investors are expecting that they can obtain their full allocation if they apply for $15,000 or below . We expect that to be the case but we can not confirm that “

‘ We have seen investors read the documents and become interested in the offer.

They often just want to ask an Advisor a couple of questions answered before they make the Investment . The Investors don’t pay any brokerage so they seem keen to speak to an advisor  before they invest. We expect that to continue all day .” said Mr King .

Mr King emphasized “ If investors are interested act as soon as possible. 5.00  pm is the absolute deadline , however leaving it late in the day runs the risk that technology disruptions could cause Chaos. We will do our best to assist however the Earlier the better."
