Steel & Tube Holdings has appointed Janine Smith and Rosemary Warnock as directors of the company.
Smith is currently chairman of McLarens Young New Zealand, deputy chairman of Kordia Group and a director of The Warehouse Group.
Warnock is currently chairman of Thinc Group Holdings and a director of OneSteel.
Smith is an independent director and however Warnock is non-independent.
Steel and Tube's chairman Dean Pritchard says he looks forward to the experience and skills that the two new directors will bring to the board.
He also acknowledges the considerable contributions of retiring board members Eileen Doyle and Ian Lindsay who has served almost 10 years on the board.
They have advised that they will not be seeking re-election at the annual meeting on November 9.
