Seeka appoints new Director

The Board of Seeka Kiwifruit Industries Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Taaringaroa (Taari) Nicholas as a director of the company.

Nicholas is a Professional Company Director with a focus on rural based companies including Te Awanui Huka Pak Limited. He is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Finance Professionals and an Accredited Member of the Institute of Directors.

In addition to over 20 years experience in Funds Management, Stock Broking and Investment Banking Nicholas is also a past member of the NZ Stock Exchange (NZX).

On 26 November 2009 Te Awanui Huka Pak Limited filed a Substantial Securities Holders Notice with the NZX in regard to the purchase of a 17% shareholding in Seeka.

Under Seeka's constitution Nicholas appointment is to be confirmed at the next Annual Shareholders Meeting to be held in August 2010.
