Independent Director Keith Smith has been appointed Chairman of Goodman (NZ) Limited, the Manager of Goodman Property Trust.
Keith Smith replaces Jim McLay who resigned in 2009 following his appointment as New Zealand's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
Greg Goodman, Chief Executive of Goodman Group and Non-Executive Director of Goodman (NZ) welcomed Smith to the role, noting his wide commercial experience and important contribution to the business over the last 6 years.
Greg Goodman also said, "Keith has been a key member of a very supportive board that has expertly managed the Trust through the cycle."
The change has no impact on the composition of the Goodman (NZ) board which retains its majority of independent directors.
